Sanford “Sandy” Webster Brown, Sr.

Sanford “Sandy” Webster Brown, Sr. of Auburn passed away September 8, 2016 at his home. He was born June 13, 1927 in Asheville, NC to Frank Webster Brown and Mamie Margaret (Shope) Brown Morris.

During WWII Sandy served in the U.S. Navy. He joined The Boeing Company in 1965 as a Flt. Line Mechanic, later was a Flt. Line Inspector and then a member of the management team. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1977.

Sanford is survived by his second wife, Brenda (Shaeffer) Brown and her two daughters: Mrs. Charity Clark of AR, and Mrs. Chris (Heather) Jaentsch of Redmond, OR; five children from his previous marriage: Mrs. Michael (Ronda) Summers of Tacoma; Mrs. Rick (Lori) Keene of Honolulu, HI; Mrs. Stephanie Sunde of Covington; Rev. Dr. Sanford (Theresa) Brown, Jr. of Seattle; and Roxanne “Rocky” Brown of Allyn; nine grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a niece, Mrs. Michael (Cleta) Nesbitt of Tumwater; and a nephew, Kris (Deborah) Kirkpatrick of Cheney.

A Memorial Service will be held 2p.m., October 2, 2016, at Kent United Methodist Church,11010 SE 248th St, Kent, WA 98030. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Alz.org. A potluck will follow the service from 3:30pm-5:30pm at 104 – 10th St NE (community room) Auburn, WA 98002 (parking at Fred Meyer only).
