Wrong for Auburn, wrong for Washington

I am puzzled at how, after Auburn native Chris Gregoire was elected, Republican Dino Rossi hid, only to resurface earlier this year to run again for governor.

Does he really think local Auburn citizens have a short attention span? Well, many of us don’t, including myself.

I am also puzzled why people are supporting Rossi. This is the same man who hid the “R” and changed it to “GOP” on the voter ballots. Is he possibly trying to hide something?

Rossi showed his true colors when he proposed making drastic cuts to education. This coming from the same man who last week shared that he would cut the minimum wage.

He wouldn’t end there. His cuts included overriding voter approval initiatives for educators’ cost-of-living allowances and reductions to class sizes. Rossi wants to cut $1.2 billion out of education. Quite frankly, as an educator, that doesn’t just puzzle me, it scares me.

Let’s have Rossi join the likes of former extreme Republican candidates such as Mike McGavick and John Carlson. Vote NO on Rossi. Wrong for Auburn citizens, wrong AGAIN for Washington.
