Regarding the letter to the editor, “Blot out the remarks” (Oct. 22), I felt it was uncalled for. The reader has the right to voice her opinion, but why did she have to be so sharp-tongued and outright rude?

I personally have been a victim of a crime, but would not take any offense to a little bit of personality the writer added to the police blotter.

In my opinion, she is the one who needs to get a life. Life is too short to pick on someone who is just trying to do the best job they can. In my opinion, this writer is doing an excellent job.
