Bigger matters to concern ourselves with

Let's imagine for a minute that your spouse has been completely unable to work for five of the past nine months. Now, in "today's" economy, in which a multitude of people are completely dependent upon a dual income, that would make one hell of a difference.
Now, let's just say that those people had two-four kids to support at the same time. ... Hmmmm, creates some financial and emotional strain I would think.
Do you know how many families are still experiencing this type of scenario? And in this scenario, do you think they are concerned about every gall darn dandelion spreading seeds?
I find your comments ("Community of ugly yards", Auburn Reporter, Aug. 31) both insincere and insecure, not to mention lacking any sense of humility.
Shame on you.
Be productive and go mow your neighbor's grass if you have such concerns.
