AYR thanks those for helping with special dinner

December 12, 2012 · Updated 6:55 PM

Auburn Youth Resources (AYR) wishes to say "thank you" to Oldcastle Precast, Gary Venn, their staff, business partners and friends who have donated food for the past 11 years to AYR families at Thanksgiving.

This year they accumulated more than 3,000 pounds of food and additional cash to provide food for the 109 AYR client families requesting assistance.

Thank you, Way Scarff, who provided the truck to transport the 3,000 pounds of food to First United Methodist Church. Thank you, First United Methodist Church, which donated the space for sorting and distribution of all 3,000 pounds of food.

Together, you made the holiday one of sharing and a true thanksgiving.

– Tiari DeGraw and Auburn Youth Resources
