Gabby Rivera Auburn's finest

Blur of hands moving at blink speed.
Click-clacking of plastic cups
melt into one continuous sound.
Holds the audience spellbound,
you can't look away.

Gabby Rivera, a Dick Scobee fifth-grader,
set a world record in Sport Stacking for her
age group. She is looking forward to
making the U.S. National team and compete
internationally.

Gabby realized at once it's not all in the
fingers. It takes disciplined concentration.
Hand and eye coordination. She practices
every day and hopes to beat her own world
record.

Students like Gabby help make Auburn
unique and are one more reason why Auburn
is more than we imagine.
