A few Saturdays ago, I was out walking in my neighborhood and saw a bunch of teenagers unloading food goods from the backs of trucks, cars, and vans.

With a little investigating, I discovered that these teenagers from Auburn Adventist Academy, in addition to members of all ages from the Auburn Academy Seventh-day Adventist Church, went to 11 neighborhoods in a two-hour period and collected 4,828 cans, jars and packages for the Auburn Food Bank.

I’d like to say “kudos” to the 130 volunteers for caring for their community and the residents of Auburn for sharing with their community.
