Proud of our great orchestra

The City of Auburn deserves to be proud of many things, but we can really "pop our buttons" over the Auburn Symphony Orchestra.

Stewart Kershaw, music director and conductor, has been the leader for the past 15 years and has inspired Auburn with music that would make New York envious if it ever heard the sounds coming from the Performing Arts Center.

You don't have to know a lot about the music because before each performance Stewart, in his charming way, informs the audience of what they'll hear and why.

And the musicians are brilliant.

So citizens of Auburn, the next time you're looking for something outstanding to experience, besides Mount Rainier, plan to treat your family to an exciting, thrilling evening with the Auburn symphony. Check them out now.
