Auburn should refocus efforts from banning baristas to revitalizing downtown

The city defiantly is concerned about putting their best foot forward to possible patrons and shoppers in the downtown area.

After being downtown on a Sunday afternoon I noticed there were many more pigeons than people, so I guess we are satisfying the masses.

I wonder if all the pastors in town get updates on the homeless problem, just like the Cowgirl (Espresso stand) problem. I am sure the mayor tells them how he has solved the drug problems and gang graffiti also. Surely he must, how else could he take time and money away from those efforts to fight girls in bikinis?

I feel that if half the effort put into this “barista gate” was put into the trouble downtown, maybe people would come back.

I do know that some girls in bathing suits serving coffee is not what is keeping folks from spending time and money downtown. The city is keeping them away all by itself.

Good choice on where to put the time, resources and effort.
