Festival causes mayhem, damages young people

Coming to Auburn on July 8 is the Rockstar Mayhem Festival. Featured groups of the festival will include Cannibal Corpse, Suicide Silence, Wretched and Body Count featuring Ice-T.

The music styles of the festival will include: thrash metal, heavy metal, post grunge, rap metal and other such sounds.

Presented in the Auburn Reporter as coming to Auburn with this festival is Korn. This group will provide heavy metal, post grunge and rap metal music.

Mayhem is war on our quality of life and mental health. This festival will be pounding, loud, intense and bring aggressive sounds and screaming, angry lyrics into the minds of young people.

Our future is being destroyed with the pop rock culture of hard rock and heavy metal music. The proof is in the names of the groups, the sounds of the music and the lyrics of the songs.

If the media presents this festival as something to do in Auburn, the media should inform its readers of the damage this hard rock and heavy metal music can do to the minds of the young people of Auburn.
