Great turnout, but without 'our mayor'

What a wonderful weekend. The Auburn Days parade had a great turnout. The children, the cheerleaders, senior citizens and veterans.

People lined the street to enjoy the day. Cars were ticketed for parking in the Chase parking area. Candidates marched in the parade asking for our votes. Seems only one person was missing "our mayor."

This is a special day for Auburn, and as an elected official we would have appreciated her participation. I do hope that next year those candidates who asked for our vote return to give a "thank you."
