It's no joke regarding Auburn's police blotter

I agree with Melissa Franzen (letter to the editor, Oct. 22) regarding the remarks in the police blotter column.

I am really tired of reading the police blotter column with all of the “jokes” and silly remarks by the writer. None of it is funny. It makes the paper look very unprofessional.

Just give us the facts in a mature manner without the misguided attempt at humor.
