Backstrom shouldn't have used 'hate' in MLK/Bush column

I take serious issue with the word hate that was used so many times in (Walter Backstrom’s) editorial.

Since when is disagreeing with someone equated into the word hate?

I am a Democrat and many of my friends and family are Democrat. I have never heard the word hate used ever.

I think Walter better rethink the terrible word hate and take it out of his vocabulary unless he can read people’s minds. He has never found this word in the minds of anyone I know.

Just because I don’t agree with George Bush in no way means I hate him.
