Politics poisoning health care

I am 76 years old and chronically ill. I have many prescriptions and fortunately, excellent health insurance that was provided when I retired.

Every time I fill a prescription or visit a doctor, I think about how lucky I am and how unfortunate those without insurance are. I think of all of the needless deaths because they had no health insurance. It breaks my heart to see the inhumanity of those elected officials who are going against what their constituents desire. They are supposed to be our voices in Congress, but instead they are only interested in their careers and the money from special interests.
