On Oct. 23, Judge Anne Hirsch ruled that the state’s voter registration practices did not violate federal standards, specifically the “Help America Vote Act.”

Hirsch’s ruling said that the state’s procedures are adequate, not resulting in a large number of illegal votes.

Illegal votes cast due to the current practices are greater than 120 over an eight-year period. We have had elections "decided" by less votes.

Judge Hirsch has failed in her duties to uphold the law. Hirsch will allow some illegal voting as long as it is kept minimal. She allows a loophole that will allow the minimal illegal vote to grow by those who would abuse the right to vote. Procedures that allow one illegal vote will allow the potential for many more.
