I’m writing in reference to the letter by Amy Beliveau (“Family planning cuts will deepen state budget woes”, Jan. 1, Auburn Reporter). I will come to the point and make this short, but not so sweet on the services Planned Parenthood provides.

Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of abortion in the United States. Thousands of babies are aborted through their services every year.

Beliveau complains that in our state 3,000 unintended pregnancies will occur. That’s good news. 3,000 children will have a chance for life.

I can’t join her in lamenting the budget cuts for the services rendered by that organization.

If all Planned Parenthood facilities were closed down, the whole country would be better for it.
