Senior Victor Korchemniy piled up four touchdowns – three rushing and one receiving – to help drive Auburn Mountainview to a 33-28 victory over No. 10-ranked Bonney Lake in the teams' South Puget Sound League 3A opener Saturday at Auburn Memorial Stadium.

Korchemniy helped the Lions (1-0 league, 4-1 overall) to their fourth straight win with 143 yards on 27 carries and touchdown runs of 16, 31 and 31 yards. He also caught a 37-yard TD pass from junior quarterback Domenic Rockey.

Rockey picked apart the Panther (0-1, 4-1) secondary with 21-of-33 passing for 298 yards and three touchdown passes. He also had four rushing carries for 30 yards.

Senior Skyler White led Auburn Mountainview receivers with nine catches for 94 yards and Joey Cassano added five catches for 101 yards and a TD. JJ Lacey had three catches for 42 yards and a TD and Devin Bryant caught three passes for 24 yards.

Defensively, the Lions were led by Brandon Bodine's 10 tackles, with Korchemniy adding eight and Cramer Helton six.

Auburn Mountainview will travel to Enumclaw at 7 p.m. next Friday for a tilt with the Hornets (0-1, 1-4) at Pete's Pool.
