Local runners earn all-SPSL 4A honors | Cross Country

Auburn Riverside's Korey Krotzer heads the list of local selections to the 2011 South Puget Sound League 4A All-League honors with his selection as the SPSL North 4A Boys Athlete of the Year.

Krotzer's teammate Trevor Love, who will also run at this weekend's state 4A meet in Pasco, was also honored with a first-team selection.

From Auburn, Tyler Flannery was selected to the All-SPSL North first-team, with teammate Brennan Walllin earning a second-team nod.

In addition, several girl runners were selected to the all-league team, with Auburn Riverside's Rachel Atwood making the first-team. Raven Lauren Saunders and Trojan Anna deCarteret were chosen as second-team selections.

Mount Rainier's Jordan McPhee was selected as the SPSL North 4A girls Athlete of the Year.
