Oregon tight end David Paulson, an Auburn Riverside High product, has been invited to participate in the Feb. 22-28 NFL Scouting Combine at Indianapolis.

Top executives, coaching staffs, player personnel departments and medical personnel from the 32 NFL teams will evaluate the nation's top college football players eligible for the April 26-28 NFL Draft.

Paulson is one of seven Ducks who were invited. He joins running back LaMichael James, quarterback Darron Thomas, offensive tackle Mark Asper, linebacker Josh Kaddu, and defensive backs Eddie Pleasant and Cliff Harris.

Paulson, a second-team All-Pac-12 selection, was the Ducks' third-leading receiver this season with 31 passes for 438 yards and six touchdowns, including one catch for 10 yards in Oregon's 45-38 victory over Wisconsin in the Jan. 2 Rose Bowl.

The Ducks (12-2) finished fourth in the polls. Oregon won its third consecutive conference title.

Paulson finished his collegiate career with 67 receptions for 1,041 yards and 10 scores. In addition, the 2011 all-league second-team choice was a three-time first-team academic all-conference pick.
