Auburn Mountainview knocks off Kentwood 23-5 | Prep boys water polo

The Auburn Mountainview Lions boys water polo squad opened their season with a 23-5 win over Kentwood on Tuesday.
The Lions were led by Brady Gardner's five goals, with Hunter Arnold adding four goals. Colin Lempert had three goals and Jonah Kathlean, Owen Lempert and Riley King had two goals each. Tyler Arnold, Paul Whisman, Daniel Kim, Blake Mallory and Rob Scheurman each had a goal.
The Conquerors were led by Sean Sturtevant and Cole Hendricks who each had two goals. Brian Wright added a goal.
Auburn Mountainview played Enumclaw on Wednesday, with scores unreported.
The Lions will host Wilson at 8 p.m. next Tuesday at the Auburn Pool.
