Auburn Mountainview and Auburn Riverside to meet in state tournament | Prep boys water polo

The Auburn Mountainview and Auburn Riverside boys water polo teams will face off for fifth and sixth place at 4:30 p.m. today at the Washington State Boys Water Polo Championship Tournament at the Curtis High School Pool in University Place.
The No. 2-ranked Lions earned a chance to play for fifth-place with a 8-5 win over Enumclaw on Friday night.
Brady Gardner led the team with four goals, with Riley King adding two goals. Hunter Arnold and Colin Lempert chipped in with a goal apiece.
Auburn Mountainview is 2-2 at the state tourney.
For the No. 5-ranked Ravens, a 10-9 win over Puyallup moved them on to the fifth-sixth place match.
Auburn Riverside is also 2-2 in the tournament.
