AUBURN MOUNTAINVIEW

COACH: Jayme Hostetter, seventh year

LAST SEASON: second at West Central District 3A meet, sixth at the 3A state meet.

RETURNERS: Lauren Brudvik, senior; Kristin Scott, senior; Cassie Hunt, senior; Hanna Houck, junior; Maddie Massagli, junior; Delaney Ralph, junior; and Vasha McQuarrie, junior.

NEWCOMERS: Yasmine Laird, sophomore; Brittney Preisner, sophomore; Nhu Huynh, sophomore; and Samantha Lewis, freshmen.

OUTLOOK: The Lions finished sixth at last season’s state meet, but lost their top all-arounder Sara Fiksdal to graduation. The team will look to Hunt and Houck – who placed 41st and 42nd in the state all-around – to lead the team this year.
