Auburn Mountainview boys basketball face loser-out district game on Wednesday

Two losses over the weekend at the West Central 3A sub-district playoffs have forced the Auburn Mountainview boys basketball team into a loser-out contest in the opening round of the West Central District III/Southwest District IV tourney.

The Lions (13-10) will play Timberline (12-8) at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at Franklin Pierce High School. The winner moves on to play Lakes (17-7) at 8 p.m. Friday, also at Franklin Pierce.

The Lions lost 46-40 to Kennedy Catholic (16-5) on Friday and 50-31 to Enumclaw (14-9) on Saturday.
