The Auburn Mountainview girls basketball team went 1-1 at last week's West Central 3A Subdistrict Tournament, earning the No. 3 seed into district and a 7:45 p.m. game today against Mountain View of Vancouver.

The Lions (12-10) lost their first-round sub-district game against Enumclaw (17-5) 51-33 last Wednesday and rebounded with a 44-39 win against Kennedy Catholic (13-8) on Friday.

Auburn Mountainview's Molly Chischosz had a game-high 21 points against Kennedy, with Sammantha DePiano adding nine points.

The win puts the Lions into a loser-out game at 7:45 tonight against Mountain View in the West Central District III/Southwest District IV tourney at Clover Park High School.

A win earns the Lions a game against Wilson at 6:15 p.m. Friday, also at Clover Park.
