Auburn Mountainview's postseason run came to an end Wednesday with a 53-40 loss to Timberline at the West Central District III 3A Tournament at Franklin Pierce High School.

The Lions (13-11) fell into a 29-20 first-half hole and were unable to make up ground in the second half.

JJ Lacey led the Lions with 11 points and Keith Green and Justin Kim contributed seven points apiece.

Donaven Dorsey led Timberline with a game-high 17 points.
