Auburn boys defeat Evergreen 75-61, earn winner-to-regionals, loser-out game against Federal Way tonight

The Auburn Trojans easily handled Evergreen of Vancouver 75-61 on Friday at Auburn Mountainview High School to stay alive in the West Central District III/Southwest District IV 4A boys basketball tournament.

The win earns the Trojans (14-9) another shot at a regional berth with a loser-out, winner-to-regionals contest against Federal Way (19-4) at 6 tonight at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma.

The winner of tonight's game will play either Tahoma (17-6) or Jefferson (14-9) Monday at Mount Tahoma for the No. 6 or 7 seed into the state regionals.
