Auburn's Thornquist remains perfect, drives Trojans to 5-0 win over Federal Way | Girls tennis

Trojan junior Lauren Thornquist remained undefeated at 8-0 in South Puget Sound League North 4A play on Friday with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Federal Way's Rabi Camara. Thornquist's win helped fuel Auburn's 5-0 win over the Eagles. The Trojans are currenlty 6-3 in league.

Nacole Schwoch chipped in with a 6-1, 6-1 in over Federal Way's Rachel Schwyhart in the No. 2 singles match and Trojans Sydney Johnson and Aly Sieimion beat Nina Longman and Rozelle Schwyhart 6-2, 6-3 in the No. 1 doubles match.

The teams of Gabie Lane and Madi Johnson, as well as Madeleine Jones and Madison Millard, were victorious in the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches, respectively.

Auburn (6-3 in league) will close out the regular season Tuesday with a 3:30 p.m. home match against Todd Beamer at Game Farm Park in Auburn.
