Top-ranked Bonney Lake defeated Auburn Mountainview 4-3 in South Puget Sound League 3A soccer action Tuesday night at Auburn Mountainview High School.

Duvan Vaca-Trujillo had a goal and an assist to lead the Lions (0-1-0 league, 1-1-1 overall). Emmanual Mendoza also scored a goal and Christian Rotter added an assist.

Auburn Mountainview's first score came courtesy an own goal by the defending state 3A champion Panthers.

Body Fitzsimmons had a goal and an assist and Jonah Phillips and Joey Mac each scored goals for Bonney Lake (1-0-0, 5-1-0). Brian Grob added an assist.

The Lions host Enumclaw (0-1-0, 1-4-2) at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
