Auburn Mountainview senior Nicki Burkhauser signed a letter of intent Wednesday to attend and play lacrosse at Colorado State University-Pueblo.

Burkhauser plays goalkeeper for the Lake Tapps Titans club team, which is 5-2-0 on the season.

Lacrosse is not an officially sanctioned Washington State Interscholastic Activities Association sport. Players from Auburn, Auburn Riverside and Auburn Mountainview typically compete for Lake Tapps.

Burkhauser is allowing an average of just over six goals per game this season for the Titans.

The Colorado State University-Pueblo plays its inaugural season in 2014-2015.
