The ultra-consistent Tabled With Gold held off Stephanie Plum in a the stretch for a one-length victory in the $18,900 Muckleshoot Tribal Purse for older fillies and mares Saturday at Emerald Downs.

With Gallyn Mitchell riding, Tabled With Gold ran six furlongs in 1:09.45 on a fast track and paid $13.40, $7.80 and $3.40. Roy Lumm is the trainer for owner/breeder Patricia Zacker.

A 4-year-old California-bred by Formal Gold, Tabled With Gold has never finished out of the money, compiling a 3-3-2 record in eight starts including a 1-1-1 mark in three outs this year.

"She sure tries hard," Lumm said of Tabled With Gold. "If anybody stubs their toe, she's right there every time."

Tabled With Gold swept past Alert in Class, the 7-to-5 betting favorite, and River of Aces, the 9-to-5 second choice, into the lane and opened a 1½-length lead past mid-stretch. She then turned back an onrushing Stephanie Plum for the victory.

Stephanie Plum, ridden by Leonel Camacho-Flores, rallied from seventh to finish second and paid $6.40 and $3.80. The consistent 6-year-old mare has five wins the last two seasons, and she defeated Table With Gold by a head last month.

Grab Ahold, ridden by Isaias Enriquez, finished third and paid $5.20.

Beautranda, Alert in Class, River of Aces, Havasu Falls and Holy Dazzle completed the order of finish.

Table With Gold earned $10,395 to increase her career total to $33,834.

Mitchell has five wins at the meet and ranks No. 1 with 1,353 career wins at Emerald Downs. Lumm has three wins this season and ranks No. 7 on the all-time trainers' list with 382 wins.

Memphis Beach ($7.80) came off the bench for an impressive victory in the $14,800 sub-feature for older $20,000/$18,000 claimers at six furlongs. A 5-year-old Washington-bred gelding by Harbor the Gold, Memphis Beach zipped six furlongs in 1:08.55 under Leslie Mawing for trainer Dan Markle and owners Sue and Tim Spooner. Markle and the Spooners have been hot all season, compiling a 4-0-1 record in eight starts with earnings of $43,204. ... Buds a Flyin ($5.20) improved to 11-for-28 at Emerald Downs with a gate-to-wire victory under Leonel Camacho-Flores in race three. Vince Gibson, who also saddled third-place finisher Buddy Dave, trains the 7-year-old gelding for owner Barbara Schmid. ... Congratulations to trainer Greg Moore, who picked up his first win of the meet with Showmethemoneyjim ($6.80) in race four. The 5-year-old gelding was claimed, however, and will now be trained by Rigoberto Velasquez for Rancho Viejo. ... The productive Preston Boyd/Louis Zacherle combination connected with Marvin's Magic ($24.30) in Saturday's nightcap. The trainer and jockey are a combined 2-for-4 at the meet and 9-for-26 the last two seasons. ... Mr Speedygonzalez ($9.20) won the meet's first Quarter Horse race, running 300 yards in :16.11 under Jose Zunino for trainer Robbie Baze. . .Zunino has five wins the last three racing days and has moved past Seth Martinez into 18th place all-time with 218 wins at Emerald Downs. ... Camacho-Flores had two wins on the nine-race card. ... Leading rider Rocco Bowen blanked for only the third time in 14 racing days and leads Mawing 22-18 in the jockeys' standings. ...
