The Auburn Little League Juniors softball team advanced to the Washington State tournament with a win at the District 10 Championships this past weekend.

The Juniors beat South Hill (Puyallup) in a best two-out-of-three game format, winning two straight to claim the district title.

Perry Azevedo manages the Juniors squad, and its coaches are Dave Judge and Steve Rhoades. The players are Brianna Azevedo, Caitlyn Rhoades, Carly Ross, Emily Bartholomew, Geane Alcedo, Jillian Tinsley, Jordyn Judge, Laurel Tauzer, Megan Perius, Mindy Wanner, Riley Mehl and Taylor Hanson.

The Washington State Juniors Softball tournament starts July 12 at Meridian Park in Shoreline.
