STEPHANIE HORIBE

AUBURN RIVERSIDE

• Grade: Junior.

• Sport: Soccer.

• Accomplishment: Horibe scored one goal and added two assists in wins over Thomas Jefferson (4-2) and Auburn (3-0) last week.

• Favorite class: Psychology.

• Favorite movie: Never Back Down.

• Most recent book read/author: “Plain Truth” by Jodi Picoult.

• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: Misty May and I would serve Olive Garden.

• Also noted: Horibe plays club soccer for Washington Premier.

DEREK BARROWS

AUBURN

• Grade: Senior.

• Sport: Football.

• Accomplishment: Barrows tied a 53-year-old school record, rushing for a 99-yard touchdown in a 66-28 SPSL North win over Jefferson on Sept. 26. The win helped the fifth-ranked Trojans (4-0, 4-0) remain unbeaten heading into last night’s showdown against Tahoma.

• Favorite class: Marketing.

• Favorite movie: Water Boy with Adam Sandler.

• Most recent book read/author: “Marine Sniper: 93 Confirmed Kills” by Charles Henderson.

• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite (actor/comedian) Adam Sandler and I would serve a large buffet with barbecue steaks, briskets, beef sausage, ribs and chicken.

• Also noted: Barrows has enlisted in the Navy and is an assistant coach for the Auburn Junior wrestling team.

CODY MCNEIL

AUBURN MOUNTAINVIEW

• Grade: Junior.

• Sport: Football.

• Accomplishment: McNeil rushed for 119 yards, two touchdowns and delivered the game-winning two-point conversion on Friday, Sept. 26, leading the Lions past White River, 15-14.

• Favorite class: Culinary Arts.

• Favorite movie: Friday Night Lights.

• Most recent book read/author: “Slawter” by Darren Shan.

• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: (New York Jets quarterback) Brett Favre and I would serve Mexican food.

KALEE CIPRA

AUBURN RIVERSIDE

• Grade: Senior.

• Sport: Cross country.

• Accomplishment: Cipra led a 2-3-4 Auburn Riverside finish, helping the Ravens surprise perennial SPSL North Division power Jefferson in last Wednesday’s regular-season opener at Roegner Park, 25-31. Riverside, with Rachel Atwood and Kelly Loomans following Cipra across the line, made it a 2-0 start by beating Kentridge in that same double-dual meet, 15-49.

• Favorite class: Psychology.

• Favorite movie: Transformers.

• Most recent book read/author: “Twilight” by Stephanie Myer.

• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite (Olympic gold medalist) Michael Phelps and would serve pizza (good carb-loading food).

• Also noted: Cipra took second at state in cross country as a freshman. She hopes to attend either Western Washington or Central Washington University next fall.
