There will be no drama for the Auburn football team this Friday as it squares off against district rival Auburn Riverside at 7 p.m. at Auburn Memorial Stadium.

The Trojans (7-0 league, 8-0 overall) made sure the Ravens (2-5 league, 3-5 overall) would not have a chance to play spoiler by beating Tahoma (5-3 league, 5-3 overall) 21-9 last Friday night to clinch the South Puget Sound League North Division title.

Playing in front of a packed homecoming house, the Trojans rode the 146 yard performance of senior running back Jeff Gouveia, who also scored all three Trojan touchdowns. Carlo Lavoie made his presence felt, running for 117 yards from the quarterback position and snatching a key interception in the fourth quarter on defense.

Running back Chris Young added 100 yards rushing.

Tahoma will close out the regular season hosting a non-league game against Graham-Kapowsin 7 p.m. this Friday.
