Trojans beat Eagles, 4-1

On Tuesday the Auburn girls tennis team improved its record to 11-3, slipping into first place in the South Puget Sound League North with a win over Federal Way 4-1.

Sandy Dennett increased her win streak to 11 with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Haley Ward in the No. 1 singles match. Sandi Mihaylova was victorious over Paige Edmiston 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 2 singles match.

In doubles, Mariah Siemion and Peyton Prothero remain undefeated with a 6-0, 6-4 win over Mina Park and Lauren Lang.

In No. 3 doubles, Alexia Amann and Kasia Somerlik beat Dalynn Wingard and Jolai Persinger, 6-1, 4-6, 6-3.
