PREP FOOTBALL: Auburn will host Kamiak in first round of playoffs this Friday at Auburn Memorial Stadium

The Auburn Trojans will play their first postseason game of the season, hosting Kamiak at 7 p.m. this Friday at Auburn Memorial Stadium.

The Trojans finished their regular season this past Friday with a 52-14 win over district rival Auburn Riverside. Auburn repeated as the South Puget Sound League North 4A champs with their 8-0 league record. Auburn was 9-0 overall on the season.

Kamiak comes into the game with a 4-2 Wesco South 4A league record, 4-5 overall. The Knights finished second behind Jackson in the Wesco South 4A. Kamiak has losses to Snohomish, Meadowdale, Jackson, Mountlake Terrace and Marysville-Pilchuk.

Auburn comes into the game averaging more than 46 points per game and allowing just 12 points per game average. Kamiak averaged 23.7 points per game and allowed opponents an average of 24 points per game.

Admission for the game is $7 for adults, $4 for students with ASB card, elementary students and senior citizens.
