Kukors, Olympians to compete at KCAC on Dec. 3-5

World record-holder Ariana Kukors of Auburn will join Olympians Rebecca Soni, Eric Shanteau and Katie Hoff at the Dec. 3-5 AT&T Short Course National Swimming Championships at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
Kukors broke the 200-meter individual medley mark at the FINA World Championships in Rome last July. Kukors posted a time of 2 minutes, 6.15 seconds in the finals to capture the gold medal.
Kukors, an Auburn Mountainview graduate, was a Pac-10 champion at the University of Washington.
Competition will begin each day 9 a.m., with finals begin at 5 p.m. Five to seven events will be contested daily.
Footage from the meet will air nationally on NBC on Dec. 12 from 11 a.m.-noon.
