GIRLS BASKETBALL: Trojans glide past Bears 56-40 in SPSL action

The Auburn Trojan girls basketball team improved to 3-3 in the South Puget Sound League North 4A, 3-4 overall with a 56-40 win over league rival Tahoma (2-3 league, 3-4 overall) on Friday.
The Trojans built a 32-19 halftime lead and outscored the Bears 24-21 in the second half to put away the league win.
Auburn was led by sophomore Iszia Johsnon with 15 pointss. Senior Heather Restrepo had 14 points and senior Nicole Young added 12 points.
Tahoma was led by seniors Erin McCaslin and Katie Buskey, who had 15 and 11 points, respectively.
