Junior post Isia Johnson’s game-high 20 points were not enough to lift the Auburn Trojans past the Kentlake Falcons in a South Puget Sound League North 4A tiebreaker to determine the fourth-and fifth-place teams in the league.

Despite leading 23-19 at the half, the Trojans (8-9 league, 9-12 overall) found themselves on the losing end of the 52-47 point contest.

Sienna Pollard had nine points in the game with senior Heather Restrepo adding eight points. McKenna Swanson and Nicole Young had four points apiece and Nitosha Torgeson added two points.

The Falcons (9-8, 12-9) were led by Cody Sisco’s 13 points and Riley Butler added 12 points. Morganne Comstock was held to just nine points in the game.

The Trojans will play the SPSL South fifth-place team, either Graham-Kapowsin or Emerald Ridge, in the SPSL 4A Tournament at 6 p.m. Friday at Thomas Jefferson High School. The winner of that game will earn the No. 9 seed into the district tourney.
