Auburn Little League 12U All-Stars keep plugging at state championship tournament | Little League

The Auburn Little League 12U All-Stars were on the winning end of another game at the Washington State Little League Championship tourney, Thursday at Smith-Murray Park in Elma.
The squad defeated the all-stars from Mercer Island 5-2 to advance to the championship game at 7 p.m. Saturday in Elma.
Auburn will play the winner of tonight's Mercer Island versus West Valley game.
If Auburn wins on Saturday they are the Washington State Little League Champions. If they lose they must play and beat either Mercer Island or West Valley for the championship.
The Washington State champs will travel to San Bernadino, Calif. for the Western Regional tournament to play state champs from Oregon, Arizona, Alaska, Wyoming, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada and Utah. The regional competition runs Aug. 6-15 at Al Houghton Little League Complex in San Bernadino.
The winner of the regional competition will move on the Little League World Series Aug. 20-29 in South Williamsport, Pa.
