Auburn Mountainview alum Jensen shines in first start for Montana

Making his first start for Montana, Auburn’s Gresch Jensen completed 25 of 49 passes for 358 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score in the Grizzlies’ 44-41 loss to Eastern Washington in a Big Sky football game at Missoula, Mont., last Saturday.

Jensen, a 6-foot-2, 218-pound freshman quarterback from Auburn Mountainview, found Justin Calhoun on a 44-yard Hail Mary on the final play of the opening half to extend Montana’s lead to 24-6.

The Grizzlies (2-2) play at Portland State this Saturday.
