Auburn Mountainview cheerleaders capture state titles in 2 categories

Auburn Riverside squad brings home a bronze

Auburn Mountainview delivered winning performances in two categories at the state cheerleading championships at Battle Ground High School on Saturday.

The Lions captured state crowns in 4A Non-Tumbling Medium, scoring 76.5 points to edge Decatur (74.5), and in the 2A/3A/4A Game Day Small category, outdistancing Newport of Bellevue, 98 to 85.75.

Auburn Riverside (Blue) took home the bronze in the 2A/3A/4A Small category.
