Auburn Mountainview’s Flores to play in all-star senior showcase

Full day of hoops set for Saturday at Seattle’s King’s High School

Auburn Mountainview’s Taylor Flores, the school’s career scoring leader, will compete for the 4A all-stars at the Washington State Girls Basketball Coaches Association Senior All State Game on Saturday, March 16.

Tipoff is 6 p.m. at Seattle’s King’s High School.

Flores, a 5-foot-6 guard, averaged 18.5 points a game for the Lions this season. She was nominated and voted on by high school coaches to play in the game. Woodinville’s Scott Bullock will coach the team.

The schedule: B vs. 2B at 2 p.m.; 1A vs. 2A at 4 p.m.; and 3A vs. 4A at 6 p.m.

The players of the year and coaches of the year for each classification will be presented at halftime of each game. Ms. Basketball 2019 and the WSGBCA State Coach of the Year will be presented at halftime of the 3A vs. 4A game.

Admission is $10 for adults and $6 for students and seniors.
