Bellarmine Prep ousts Auburn Riverside

Danny Anderson threw a shutout and Tim Jensen homered in a six-run fifth inning as Bellarmine Prep defeated Auburn Riverside 10-0 to eliminate the Ravens from the West Central District playoffs at Auburn Mountainview High School on Saturday.

The Lions (11-10) advance while the Ravens finished the season 10-12.

Anderson struck out three and walked one over six innings.

Ty Emmons took the loss for Auburn Riverside. He went 4⅔ innings, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out five.

Giovani Parascondola doubled for the Ravens. Dylan Grenz got the Ravens’ other hit.
