2009-10: Brenden was at the Training Camp of the Stanley Cup winning Pittsburgh Penguins prior to T-Birds training camp. He played in 67 games for the Thunderbirds this season. Brenden scored two goals and had 12 assists for 14 points with 101 penalty minutes.

2008-09: Brenden played in 70 games last season for the Thunderbirds. He had 10 points, all on assists, with 68 penalty minutes. Brenden played in all five T-Bird playoff games recording one assist and six penalty minutes.

2007-08: Brenden played in 71 games for the T-Birds. He tallied one goal and ten assists over the season for ten points. He also recorded 54 penalty minutes. He tallied a season high two points against Portland recording a goal and an assist. In the playoffs, Brenden played in all twelve games, recording two points, both assists.

2006-07: Brenden played with the Hope Icebreakers of the PIJHL, a Jr. B league in British Columbia. He was the third leading scorer on the team with four goals and 27 assists for 31 points. Brenden also had 54 penalty minutes and a plus minus rating of plus-16.
