Talia Samuelson scored two goals and assisted on two others as Auburn Riverside blanked Auburn 6-0 in a North Puget Sound League Olympic Division girls soccer match Wednesday night.

It was the eighth shutout of the season for the Ravens, 9-0 in league and 10-0-1 overall.

The Trojans dropped to 0-9.

Stephanie Igwala scored two goals and had an assist. Kiana Gutierrez and Addie Saarenas each added a goal, with Kailee James, Seirra Parshall and Sydney Wate distributing assists.

With her performance, Samuelson moved just behind Thomas Jefferson’s Hailey Still for the league lead in scoring. She also moved into second in school history in goals and points, trailing only Julie Futch (class of 2006).

Igwala, a junior, in only her third varsity game of the season, has three goals and four assists.

Auburn Riverside hosts second-place Thomas Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Auburn hosts Auburn Mountainview on Tuesday at the same kickoff time.
