Ravens blast Kentwood, grab No. 3 seed to district fastpitch playoffs

Auburn Riverside recovered from a semifinal loss to Tahoma, beating Kentwood 11-2 to take third place at the 4A North Puget Sound League fastptich tournament on Saturday at the new park at Tahoma High School.

Brooke Dye hit a home run to lead the assault. Autumn Lee went the distance to grab the win.

The Ravens (14-5) enter this weekend’s West Central District tournaments as the league’s No. 3 seed.

District play begins Friday at the Kent Service Club Ballfields, with the tournament concluding Saturday. The top eight teams advance to state the following week.
