Ravens, Kunimura soar to All-City wins

Auburn Riverside edges rival Auburn Mountainview for quad meet conquest

Auburn Riverside, behind Hailey Kunimura’s top all-around performance, edged Auburn Mountainview for the All-City gymnastics win at a North Puget Sound League quad meet Wednesday at Auburn Mountainview High School.

The Ravens scored 166.6 points to hold off the Lions (163.35). White River (150.25) was third, followed by Auburn (148.8) and Enumclaw (107.2).

Teams are tuning up for the NPSL/SPSL meet Feb. 9 at Auburn Mountainview.

Kunimura capturing the all-around win, with a first on the uneven bars, a second on the vault and thirds in the floor exercise and balance beam.

The Lions’ Ariana Martinez won the beam and floor.
