Ravens tear up Raiders; Lions fall to Eagles | NPSL football

Sam Braboy ran for 112 yards and one touchdown as Auburn Riverside throttled Thomas Jefferson 52-0 in a North Puget Sound League Olympic Division opener for both teams Thursday night at Auburn Memorial Stadium.

Braboy and six teammates joined the TD scoring party for the Ravens (1-0 division, 3-0 overall), who take on rival Auburn Mountainview next Friday.

The Raiders dropped to 0-1 and 0-3.

Auburn Riverside pitched its third straight shutout to open the season, having pummeled the opposition by a combined score of 128-0.

Quarterback Tiano Malietufa completed 9 of 16 passes for 164 yards and one TD – a 32-yarder to Cade Stober. Malietufa also ran eight times for 93 yards and a TD.

Javon Forward, Isaiah Prescott and Suaava Stevens scored on runs. The younger Malietufa, Tyrus, returned an interception 25 yards for another score.

The Ravens rolled up 385 yards on the ground and 549 yards in total offense.

At Federal Way 21, Auburn Mountainview 17: Kamar Collier caught a 68-yard touchdown pass from Solomon Bang in the fourth quarter to lead the Eagles past the Lions in an NPSL Olympic Division opener for both teams Thursday.

Sui Daniels threw a 32-yard TD to Bill Benjamin and Carlos Huizar kicked three field goals for the Lions (0-1 division, 0-3 overall).

Bang threw two TDs on the night for the Eagles (1-0, 2-1).

At Auburn 42, Decatur 27: Zach Redelf scored on two short runs and Cole Washburn scored twice more – returning one on a 40-yard fumble recovery – as the Trojans (1-0, 3-0) defeated the Gators (0-1, 0-3) in an NPSL Olympic Division opener Friday.

Zeke Turner scored on an 81-yard run and Hope Tuamoheloa added a 10-yard TD for Auburn.
