Auburn Mountainview High School’s Nate Weeldreyer, baseball, is the Auburn Reporter’s Male Athlete of the Week.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Astronomy.

Q: What other activities do you participate in?

A: Tennis, fishing, skiing, swimming and hanging out with family.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Elliot Cribby.

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: Away games, terriyaki is my meal.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Maze” by Juice World

A: Sports medicine.

A: Running, reading and hanging out with friends.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Mom.

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: Pre-game I watch tennis videos and my game-day playlist. I also put my hair in a certain style and I have a favorite pair of socks I wear.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Better” by Khalid.
