Thunderbirds announce seven-game preseason slate

Open play Aug. 31 in Everett; season tickets on sale

The Seattle Thunderbirds have announced their seven-game preseason this August and September.

The T-Birds begin the preseason against Vancouver on Aug. 31, the first of three games at the Delta Hotels Preseason Classic in Everett.

For Seattle, preseason play continues with a pair of games Sept. 6-7 at the Red Lion Hotels’ Preseason Tournament at the Toyota Center in Kennewick.

The T-Birds wrap up preseason play with back-to-back, home-and-away games against the Everett Silvertips.

Single-game tickets for the 2018-19 WHL season go on sale online at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, on the T-Birds website and at the accesso ShoWare Center box office.

The T-Birds’ complete 2018-19 regular season schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.

Season tickets are on sale and can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825.

Thursday, Sept. 6 at Spokane, 3 p.m. at Tri-City Tournament

Friday, Sept. 7 at Kootenay, 3 p.m. at Tri-City Tournament

Tuesday, Sept. 11 vs. Everett, 7:05 p.m. at the accesso ShoWare Center

Saturday, Sept. 15 at Everett, 7:05 p.m. at the Angel of the Winds Arena
